Multilingual Overview
For users who require multilingual content, IProperty content elements available for com_falang, a 3rd party extension for multilingual Joomla sites. To create multilingual IProperty content, simply download Falang (free or paid version) and the IProperty Falang content elements (available to subscribers in our downloads area at https://extensions.thethinkery.net/).
Installing Falang
Install Falang via the Joomla installer. After Falang is installed, go into the Falang admin control panel -> Content elements. You will see the current available content elements that were installed with the component here. Click on the ‘install’ toolbar button from the Falang content elements panel.
Once the IProperty content elements are installed, you can go to the Falang->Translations area and you will now see the IProperty content elements in the list of translatable items. Select your language and content element from the Falang translations drop downs and translate away!
If you require editing content translations via the front end, you must make sure the ‘Frontend Edition’ option is enabled in the Falang configuration. When this option is enabled, editing from the front end will store translations for the currently selected front end language.
